With Valentine’s day around the corner, I thought I would share with you a very simple hairstyle that I have seen and loved for a long time.. This hair style is appropriate for the holidays, birthdays and other special occasions. It is also an awesome for those who cannot cornrow. If you are the type that says “I can’t style my hair”, Or “I can’t cornrow” then this style is perfect for you.
I purchased the hair from my local beauty supply store for less than two dollars. You can also find kanekalon hair online
Goddess Crown braids or halo braids have been very popular and I enjoy the simple yet elegant look of this style. Here is how to achieve the look belo
Step 1: Gather your hair tools.
Scrunchies, Bobbi pins, 1 pack of Kanekalon hair, hair styling products of your choice, I used ,Mane choice 3 in 1 conditioner, ,Mane Choice Biotin Infused styling gel and the ,Mane Choice Daily hair dressing butter, wide tooth comb and brush

Step 2: Braid the pack of hair into one long single braid.

Step 3: Prep your natural hair.
Before I placed my hair in a bun, I first lightly saturated my hair with water, then applied the mane choice 3 in 1, revitalize and refresh conditioner sparingly, then applied the hair butter to my hair, by first rubbing in my palms to warm it up before applying to my hair.
Step 4: Put your hair into a ponytail.
I chose to add a middle part in my hair, then used The mane choice Crystal Orchid styling gel to put my hair in a ponytail. You may opt for any gel of your choice.

Step 5: using the rubber band on the kanekalon hair, wrap around your ponytail, then around the crown of your head. Pin the hair down with bobby pins, from the back, to hide the pins. Continue this along the perimeter of the head, it you get to the back.

Wrap the tail of the braid to your bun and pin down to achieve this elegant look.
Here is the final result.

I love this style because it is Simple, inexpensive, Allows me to keep my hair in a low manipulation and protective style.
Now its your turn, would you try this low manipulation and protective style?
